WOYWW 121

Hello WOYWW'ers :)
Julia over at the Stamping Ground is once again hoping you'll all show off your workdesks - good or bad, messy or tidy - and join in the fun for "What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?"
Now, here's the HUGE shock... my desk is....
... empty (almost - but even the carousel is empty!).
It's also not my usual desk, and it's moved. I'm now banished from crafting in the dining room, as my 'new' craft room has now been painted and is habitable. However, there are no shelves yet built... and no desk either! Now, I ask you, how can it be craftily habitable without a craft desk? *lol* This is the table from my little kitchen - so I've gone from using a table that can seat up to eight, to a table that could squeeze in two... just. Well it would seat two normal people... but only enough space for just half a crafter (because we're messy people *lol*). Seeing as Tuesday was craft night, all my little bits and pieces from my latest project were bagged up and taken with me - so nothing is on my little teeny tiny weeny itsy-bitsy table.
I do have a bag full of goodies I bought though... including the new Tim Holtz long leaves die - it's so purty! :)
I know I should be very grateful for the chance of having a dedicated crafting space... but I'm just feeling so darn impatient right now! Maybe this evening Hubby will take me out to buy the light fitting I so badly need in the craft room....?

Of course I'll keep updating on the kittens... this is how they looked on Tuesday night, all cosy with mummy :)

Oh dear, first your craft space and then Mr Blogger! Let's hope normal service is resumed ASAP and that you're soon happily working in your own crafty space. The kittens are adorable - and growing rapidly it seems. Di xx

Well, I wasn't expecting that - it seems almost wrong seeing a completely clear workspace/table! Have fun filling it up :) Love that pile of cat! Hard to tell where they all begin and end - cute!! xx

Aww, those kittens are so sweet, I just want to give them a hug.

As for your room, patience hun, you’ll be in your new room very soon and then everything will be close to hand.
The other nice thing about having a dedicated room is that you don’t have to put everything away each night, you can just step away and close the door and no one’s any the wiser!

Happy Crafting!

oh no blogger is eating my comments now too! have had to revisit loads of blogs already! love your clear and empty desk - have fun in your new craft room - I have just left mine to my oh as a study as I couldnt craft in there with him working from home 3 days a week so now I use my dining room! its a funny old world isnt it! as long as I can craft though I am not fussed :)

Very existentialist workdesk. Absolutely gorgeous kitties! Kittens are the best thing in the world.

Gracious - you're in crafting control!! I often think that a small desk would actually be a productive space rather than just a space to mess up - we'll await your opinion!

I can sooooo understand your impatience, I did up a shed this summer to be a suitable space and at every turn wanted to paint it and get furniture in before even the insulation was done lol hope you're in soon, tfs Jenny

Wow completely clear (mine never looks that clear :)) It'll be nice to have your newly painted room tho, you'll have to share some pic, and those kittens look so lovely.
