WOYWW #415

Time trundles on, and brings us all round once again to a Wednesday... the middle of the week where the only thing to look forward to is...

YAY!!

Get ready for the most boring WOYWW post that's ever been...
My desk is empty... well, sort of :)

I've finished the Alice Album after deciding against any extra 'flaffy' bits inside and so I've cleared my desk ready for the next project. EXCEPT...
I guess you can't help but notice the tripod sat jauntily on my desk, hovering over a blank workspace... I'm waiting for a new webcam, and the tripod is set up expectantly so I can mount the said new webcam (when it eventually arrives!) and record the albums I have made. It's got to be easier than taking photographs, surely?
My ever-patient son has given me some links for the best video-editing software for absolute technophobes like his poor old mum (that would be me lol), and I'm hoping to get recorded and edited, and then uploaded before Friday. Stress on the "I'm hoping"" lol.

There's my WOYWW post - short and sweet this week from me (makes a change!)
Want to join in or figure out what we nosey-crafters do every Wednesday? Click on over to the Stamping Ground, where our Leader will reveal all.... lol

Happy Crafting, and a Beautiful Wednesday to ALL!

Oh... I'm number 22 this week :)

Good luck with the technology. I've just about got to grips with blogging and taking photos; not sure I could handle making and editing videos, even with a son who works in IT. Sarah #17

Happy WOYWW. Good luck with the videos. I have managed to make a few, but most were not edited (just chucked on YouTube as they were!). I look forward to seeing them. Ali x #23

Your desk looks like it is ready for filming. Good luck with the editing software, always nice when the kiddies steer us in the right techno direction. Have a lovely week.

Sounds like a great idea, filmiing all the pages. I keep saying to Doug I need to video all the pages in my folders of stamps, I'm pretty sure no-one at an insurance company would believe the value of whats in them!Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX

Excuse me, but you're so not a technophobe if you've had ideas about webcams and tripods!! I wouldn't even know where to start :-D Thank goodness for techy support from your son! I hope it all works out well.

good luck with that then.. I'd be hopeless too - once it's all set up I can use stuff ok, but don't know anything about webcams and stuff. sounds exciting though! Helen #1

Good luck with the video and the editing. Sounds like the kind of software I need to get my techniques recorded for some of my classes. Maybe I should spend some time searching as to what is out there.
Although I am travelling home on Friday I hope that I will be able to come back and see what you have done.
Hugs Neet (who has had an upset tum so not enjoying the trip yet - but there is always another day) xx

Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment and the handy link to visit here, most helpful :)
Trouble is, I honestly can't read your post - the fancy font on the textured background is just too difficult to read (even though I enlarged it a lot).
Sorry :(
But happy WOYWW, anyway :)

I am looking forward to seeing how you go on with the webcam. I agree that taking photographs is a pain but still haven't got round to making videos but it sounds as though you have someone to help you which is very useful. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x15x

Whatever would we do without young folk to help us with technology. They are just so at home with all. I can struggle all day with something and it takes my 16 year old 5 minutes to sort it out.
Good Luck with your new software and thank you for visiting me already.

Hi Bubbles, that sounds like a very exciting project. Will we be seeing process videos on YouTube once you've figured out how to use the technology - I do hope so. Hope the webcam has arrived and that you are now up and running - before Friday as hoped. Enjoy the learning process. Elizabeth x #46

PS: thanks for your earlier visit.

Hi Bubbles, good luck with your webcam, I hope you find it much easier than you fear. admire your determination to finish a project and know when to call "stop". I've so many unfinished ones around that might get another tweak, before I flit off to something else. Still, I managed to resit buying wool when out with Jan in Llandeilo last week, so maybe I'm better than I think, too ;-)
thank for your visit, have a grat week, hugs, Lynne #37

Hi there. Finally got around to visiting! Wow - I am impressed - technology in use going on there - trust you really enjoy it. Thanks so much for the lovely comments you left me. I've had a wonderful time with my college friends - loads of talk, loads of fun - even some spare energy left after some walked up Snowdon! Most availed themselves each evening of the hot tub set up in the garden at the house they were renting, which was overlooking the Conwy Estuary and castle. Not a bad life, hey???
Take care. God bless.

Woot! Thank heavens for children who understand all this new technology. I have trouble with my point and shoot camera! I look forward to hearing about your experiences with the video documentation. Thanks for visiting my desk earlier. I was so happy that I remembered in time to participate in WOYWW this week. Vickie #43

I am kind of grinning here... I won't tell you how many camera's I own... I even picked up a thing ( like a stand ) to hold your cell phone over your desk or your camera and shoot video's but, the idea of video's is a little nerve wracking to me ( because of the noise I guess) so, this is just a fun post to read tonight. :) Thanks for the earlier visit, ~Stacy #35
