WOYWW #422

Wednes-YAY!  is here again... time for another round of....
What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday
Hosted by our wonderful globetrotting Ms Julia of the Stamping Ground,  it is our weekly round up of taking a peek around the world at other people's work spaces and marveling at how neat/messy/creative/ stuffed they are (the work spaces, not the bloggers lol)
Tickling Mr Linky gave me number... 7! Okay, so not first, but 7 shows I'm up pretty early (or VERY late, depending on how you see it lol)
So, my desk this week...
... showing that I have indeed started a new project. I am stash-busting - starting with some storage boxes that I am making into a stand/box for a mini album. I have no idea what I'm doing with it at the moment - and my brain has been fried over the last few days with visits from my youngest grandbabies - 'Nonna' duties including singing "Baby Shark" and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" more times than I care to recall - to a dentist visit Tuesday to finally have my tooth extraction. My mouth hates me right now. I have such strong teeth and roots that getting out a rogue tooth isn't an easy thing to do. I am feeling a bit battered and bruised lol. Painkillers may be a good thing - but I do strange things when I have to add to my usual pain medication - so this new project may be something odd lol
My notebook is close at hand - but it's closed with nothing new inside, as I'm all out of ideas right now lol. At least I have my coffee. It's 3am here right now - and I have just sneaked downstairs to make the coffee and try to eat a slice of cold pizza. Having a coffee ban for the day has been hell! Hopefully the caffeine will soon kick in and I'll have my notebook full of ideas :)

Have a wonderful Wednes-YAY! everyone...

Hope the extraction heals quickly.
I'm sure you will come up with some super ideas.
3am!!! I thought I was bad a waking at just after 4am this morning and spent ages trying to get back to sleep as I have a very busy day at work today. Gave up, got up and NOW I feel sleepy LOL
Have a good week.

I had a couple of teeth out nearly a year ago now and the dentist said the roots were the largest she had seen (on one of them) in her 20 years of dentistry so I know how you feel. Put mew off extractions I can tell you. Thinking of you and hoping you soon heal.
Don't push the ideas they will come when the time is right and then you can show us what a wonderful project you have done.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx

I don't think I've ever been in single figures, Bubbles, so #7 sounds great! I'm normally in the 20s and 30s. Nice tidy desk, this week! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #20

Oh poor you - the bruising around the jaw and face area always seems to take an age to relieve too. Hope the caffeine has kicked in and you're feeling more like normal now! Stash busting is a very good thing..I confess to having bught some new stuff while we were in Idaho, but I do already have plans for it; it will not languish like so much other stuff!

Hi Bernice, hope you are feeling a bit better now. I think toothache, along with earache is the worst, and your jaw must feel very much like that. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #11 XxX

Happy WOYWW. I hate going to the dentist. I developed dental phobia after local anaesthetic failed a few years ago and the horrible dentist insisted on carrying on with a filling. After years of avoiding the dentist completely, then having treatment under general anaesthetic, and then finding a more local dentist that offers sedation, I am finally becoming calm enough to attempt some treatment on Monday without sedation. It is just a clean/polish, some x-rays and a very small repair to a filling (which the dentist says will not even need any numbing), but it is a big move for me. I am attempting to distract myself by keeping busy, but will be very glad when it is all over for another 6 months. Hope your mouth is more comfy soon. Ali x #25

I think having extractions upsets your whole system so no wonder you're feeling battered and bruised - the additional misfortune of not being able to have coffee just adds to the misery! I hope you feel better very soon :-)

Ouch.....you have my full sympathy. I have a dentist phobia from an experience as a child and about 12 months back I went thinking I needed a filling but she said the tooth needed pulling out. She wanted me to come back another day but I said she either did it straight away or not at all lol. She obliged and was very understanding with me so thankfully I'm getting braver as I get older. Really hope yours heals quickly.

Ouch, ouch, ouch! I sort of feel sorry for dentists - don't think I know anyone who actually likes to go visit them! Hope the pain levels drip soon and your mouth heals up quickly. All the best with the newest project... it will indeed be interesting to see what happens!
Thanks for visiting.
Take care. God bless.

thanks for visiting Bubbles. It is so much fun to visit on line.

A few years back it felt like "if i didn't have doctors appointments I wouldn't have a social life". hope your dental work is soon in the mend mode. Just keep on crafting and enjoying your creations. Have a better week.

Hope the mouth heals soon, if not make sure it isn't dry socket as there is nothing worse and you'll need it packing. Got the t-shirt on that one LOL.
My crafting day was more like chatting to friend who brought loads of cardstock round to make use of my Cuttlebug and dies, 6 hours worth! Bit shattered after that, but she loves it here. Thanks for the visit BJ#19

May your mouth heal quickly. Only way I'd get an extraction is by being knocked out. May the pain killers work out ok or at least you make interesting art.

3am! wow. And coffee at 3am! Are you usually up that early? That's usually my "pee and crawl back into bed" time!Tooth extractions are not fun, all that tugging and pulling really wears a person out! Yours sounds especially challenging, I hope you feel better soon! I'm sure you will come up with lots of ideas for your box when you are feeling more yourself! Thanks for sharing (sorry I'm late!)
