Crafty Snippets week 68

I have found the perfect way to use up LOADS of those little bits and pieces I have laying around. It's something that's been popular a few years back - something that passed me by completely until this week... captured fairies!
All you need is an empty (and clean) jar (or bottle if you're really clever and brave), a paper figure, loads of little bits and pieces, and a dash of imagination.
If in doubt, look up Artedar or Cynthialoowho on youtube (or just google "captured fairy").
So... here's "Rosa Alma", a wee little fairy captured in a jar...

The back of her jar (an empty candle jar)...
and a couple of charms I added...
I used scraps of ribbon, bits of feather, lace, paper and fabric flowers.... anything pink that I could lay my hands on :) If it wasn't pink, I 'dyed' it using cosmic shimmer and/or ink.

So much fun to do... a great project to immerse yourself in for a few hours inbetween other major projects, or when your mojo is waning.
My snippets drawer is dangerously low on bits and pieces now - woohoo!

So... off to the playground to post the piccie and have a play.

This is lovely! What a great idea, and I'll jump on the bandwagon - I could donate tons of snippets - plain, patterned, you name it lol!!

As you've received loads of offers to send you snippets, I'll gracefully not offer otherwise you won't be able to move lol

Great idea for making the most of your glass jars, the fairies look very happy in their little homes :)
