WOYWW 146

You're never going to believe this... but on my desk today, there are actual scrapbook papers... really!! *lol*
"What's On You Workdesk Wednesday"? is here again ,YAY!!! and hundreds of nosey parkers are snooping in on other people's desks... those who dare to show them.
As you can see, there's a lot going on - a little bit of everything... so nothing is really getting done.
Yes, that IS chocolate... and there's not much left either. And, yes, it was ME who ate it all *lol* The autumn mini-book and stand are out again - I am determined to get it finished...
I'm also re-learning to crochet. I've not gotten very far as yet. Okay, so I've not got anywhere at all... I did do a few loops last week... and then threw it across the living room (much to the kittens joy and fun!)...
That's my diary... I still write in it every day - all boring stuff. And then there's the dollshouse I have yet to build... well, the instructions anyway. You'd think that, by reading the instructions, all would be plain and clear... but, NO! After reading the instructions my head was swimming, and I had no idea what to do next. So the dollshouse has thus far stayed in it's box... in pieces. Of course, this last week has been flippin' awful... the hallway and stairs are being redecorated. Hubby was fed up with the dark chocolate brown walls, and asked me to pick another colour... "Anything but brown", he said "Or blue". To be fair, the colour I picked is a medium to light teal sort of colour... which (in my opinion) is more green than blue (though it doesn't show too well in the photograph).
So... he can't really complain about the colour :)

That's it... I'm back to getting this mini-album finished...
Have a wonderful WOYWW everyone!
Happy Crafting!

Oh... and have to add:
Buckets of thanks and smiles to Julia - I got my badge and it's brilliant! It's attached to the shoulder strap of my large craft bag ... so wherever I go, the badge comes too :)

Hi Bubbles,

Your desk looks interesting! I knit but have never tried to crochet. I absolutely LOVE granny squares so maybe I'll have to try - one of these days. I've never really had a diary because I didn't want anyone else to read it. Not that it would be racey...

I've just started art journaling and this will be something that I stick with. I love spreading gesso with my fingers!

Happy WOYWW

Love your busy desk! My grandma tried for years to teach me crochet, but I'm all thumbs with it...more often than not when I try to make something, it winds up as a cat toy!

Happy WOYWW!

great looking desk with lots of fun stuff to play with. My daughter and I knit and crochet a little but I get achy thumbs if I do it too long. Hope you have a great week and thanks for sharing! Vickie #48

I've never tried crochet - used to knit but not for ages - now I don't have time... but good luck! Your desk looks full of lush-ness (I know that's not a real word!) today.

Good luck with the crochet and dolls house assembling. Decorating is Very Stressful. Put off anything tricky until it's over.Love the colour you chose.

Taught myself to crochet (of a fashion) years ago as my Mother failed to do so - me being left-handed it was a real struggle to follow her right-handed workings. I gave up as everything I tried to make ended up growing wider as as it grew longer - couldn't manage the turning chains however hard I tried.
Love your desk this week - beautiful box there.

Loved taking a look at your space. Most instructions are written by men and they never follow them. #25

Good luck with your mini book and the crochet. I got myself a hook a few weeks, no months ago - intending to learn, I will get around to it eventually!

Thanks for visiting my desk and for your comment :) Sherry (8)

Don't give up on the crochet. Once you have got the hang of it, it is the ideal craft for sitting in front of the TV at night, takes up very little room. Thank you for your visit today and for you lovely comments. Have a very good week. xx Maggie #5

Always such a lovely desk, gorgeous Autumn colours, my favourite. Love the hall colour too. If you think about it, to go with the wall paper the paint has to be in the blue/brown/teal family anyway! Looks good to me in teal.

Hi Sheleen. Ooo..lots going on on your desk. I have been wanting to crochet too and I have just found a little shop in the high street that holds a 'knit & natter' afternoon, so I may just go visit one of these days. *Ü* Good luck with the projects.

Glad to see your doing well and still creating wonderful little projects.

In 26 years, it's the only thing that tests our marriage - decor colour. I think you just got away with it! Ive stopped pretending I can crochet too..I want results, not unpickings! Can't say anyhthing about your dollshouse, the idea fills me with horror because f one sitting in my room of shame, untouched in 8 years...I may blog about it one day!
