Oh, For Goodness Sakes, Blogger!

Yes, there are problems with my comment posting on Blogger ... again! On some blogs when I hit the 'comment' button, I'm just flipped back to the main blog page. I have no idea how to sort this one out - so if my usual inane and random comments are obvious in their absence, then it's really not my fault! *lol*

She is such a talented woman - and as soon as that Star Of David mat is finished, I want to see it on her blog - it's going to be GORGEOUS!

Still No Comment!

I figure that if I at least list here the people who have written fantastic posts that I can't comment on, then perhaps they'll know I've visited and enjoyed looking at their work/reading their post, etc.

Hopefully, my gorgeous and beautiful neice, Caitlin (who is 8 years old), will prove to be a distraction... I've packed a little box of bits and pieces to help keep her occupied. Grrr! Blogger! You're really annoying me now!

I've been leaving comments on a few blogs... thank you so much to everyone who 'blogs' amazing posts - many of you are an inspiraton, quite a few are an absolute hoot... and you're all brilliant. I've managed to get round to trying to post  42 comments on various blogs....

So... here's to the blogs that blogger wouldn't allow me to post a comment on this evening:

Okay, so 2 out of 42 isn't really that bad... but copying each and every post, waiting to see if it has actually appeared on the comments list, and then trying again if it hasn't really does take a LONG time *lol* Not much done for the mini-album for the Christmas Cottage tonight then :)

Oh, For Heaven's Sake! Blogger!!! Grrr!!!

I have spent most of the early hours of this morning (12am until nearly 3am) leaving comments on every post that has been written by people that I 'follow'... every post that's been written by you lovely people over the past few days that I've missed. I've just noticed that a lot of the comments, after I've hit the 'post comment' button, have just disappeared... slipped into the ether of the world wide net, never to be seen of again.

Darn it! Blogger *shakes fist* You are a pain in the blogging backside!

So... please note that, if I (once again) am appearing to be somewhat absent in your comments section... I have visited, I have loved everything that people have done... I have spent silly amounts of time leaving comments... and it's all Bloggers fault that I have become the invisible woman :(

Blogger is being a pain for me... it's told me that some blogsites don't exist any longer, or that people haven't blogged for over a year... and it's not true!!! Too late, I stopped 'following' before I realised that it was simply a blogger mistake, so I'll try to sort this out as soon as I can.

Blogger 'comment' troubles?

I've finally managed to start commenting on people's blogs again "YAYYY!!!!!"
For those with the same problem as I had:
"I login at my dashboard, no problems there. I go to a blogger blog and comment, and instead of my username being there I have to pick "google account", which then takes me to the login screen, where I login (selecting remember me), and I get taken to the comment form again, and show up as anonymous, instead of as my user name. Then I type the word verification, and click post, and it takes me to the login screen again. Then after I login again it takes me to the comment, and I have to start all over again." (AMYH41111)
then there's a list of solution Blogger advises you to try:

0) Make sure you are running the latest version of your browser, if not, upgrade it.
1) Make sure you REALLY have cleared both your COOKIES and CACHE
2) Once cleared shut down the browser
3) Then open it again and Check that the Cookies and Cache are indeed Empty. This is very important. The problem seems to be with corrupt cookies and cache files
4) If that is OK try going to www.blogger.com . Don't login yet, press CTRL-F5 and then try logging in again
5) If that still does not work try logging into Gmail first and then go to www.blogger.com and try again
6) If that does not work try going to this address http://www2.blogger.com/home
7) If that does not work try going to draft.blogger.com
8) If all those fail, try installing another browser to see if that works eg Firefox, Chrome, Opera etc

Here's my answer to that:

I cleared cookies etc, and then tried the trick of NOT clicking the "keep me signed in" box. This appears to have worked .... but surely this is not the point - why isn't Blogger just working? I shouldn't have to go through this rigmarole every time I want to use Blogger! As for advising people to use a different browser... WHAT??!! You want me to download a completely different browser just so as I can leave comments on Blogger? Are you insane??? How unprofessional this sounds... it's like passing the buck - Blogger doesn't work properly and so the users have to find a way of fixing the problem rather than Blogger themselves sorting it out and correcting what's wrong.

Anyways, I have managed to catch up with a few people... and I'm so sorry if I haven't managed to comment on everyone's amazing and wonderful blog entries as yet... but there's only so many hours in a day *lol*

What is up with Blogger this time...???!!!

Sorry guys, but I've tried to leave messages on so many blogs... and Blogger just won't let me - I have to keep signing in to leave a comment, and then instead of publishing the comment, I get shifted to signing in again. Darn it! Wish Blogger would sort out their problems!
