You write in such a way that I WAS there with you!!!!! I haven't laughed so much in ages....THANK YOU! I have only been to a couple of Hobbycrafts, but can totally understand this happening....they are a bit clueless. So pleased you got your chipboard though in the end. So.....what magnificent creation are you going to make with it?Anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08887222303950344507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4830616791254484858.post-31039173782006014342010-10-11T20:38:24.378+01:002010-10-11T20:38:24.378+01:00I've given up asking the staff in my local Hob...I've given up asking the staff in my local Hobbycraft anything, none of them appear to have a clue! Toni's right, it really would help their sales if their staff knew what they were talking about, but never mind. Sounds like you had a fun shopping trip though, and I'm glad you got your chipboard!Juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12662830501446667119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4830616791254484858.post-32030763016832286992010-10-09T17:52:08.885+01:002010-10-09T17:52:08.885+01:00I completely agree with Toni - Hobbycraft are in t...I completely agree with Toni - Hobbycraft are in the wrong for not training their staff. It must be miserable to work there and not have a clue about any of the things you are selling. I would have taken it and waved it under his nose too :)Sianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01764280029794453933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4830616791254484858.post-42260973910715639792010-10-09T08:43:44.602+01:002010-10-09T08:43:44.602+01:00Problem is...Hobbycraft have failed to appreciate ...Problem is...Hobbycraft have failed to appreciate that it would actually be helpful to their sales if their staff knew something about the products they sell (male or female) - they insist on employing 'kids' cos it is cheap but most of them wouldn't know a clear stamp from their chipboard even if it jumped up and bit them. Both of the HC stores near me are just the same.

misteejayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03105825533185786612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4830616791254484858.post-86506090224149096712010-10-09T08:21:16.638+01:002010-10-09T08:21:16.638+01:00How funny I'll bet if he sees you coming next ...How funny I'll bet if he sees you coming next time he will drag you to the "chipboard" and say I remembered LOL, or mybe he will juat run and hide.
Men aren't designed to recognise papercrafting items!!
Tracee xTraceehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13837307079737587908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4830616791254484858.post-56284576764742216982010-10-09T06:32:17.206+01:002010-10-09T06:32:17.206+01:00Love your post - how could he possibly understand ...Love your post - how could he possibly understand the value of chipboard - he's a man!My man calls my pages cutting and sticking and making a mess.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
